Who is the MFAA?

The Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) is the peak industry association for the mortgage and finance industry in Australia. With some 13,000 members comprising of mortgage brokers, aggregators, finance brokers, mortgage managers, and bank and non-bank lenders, it is one of the largest industry/professional associations in the country.

What are the National Excellence Awards?

The Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) Excellence Awards are presented to members of the Association who display exceptional practice in mortgage and finance. The Awards encourage members of the industry to constantly improve and strive for excellence. They recognise individuals and organisations that help the industry evolve through best practice and innovation.

The MFAA Excellence Awards are the only mortgage industry awards judged by an independent panel of experts, setting the industry benchmark. 

The entrants are judged on five key behaviours – their professionalism, integrity, ethical conduct, innovation and role-model value.
